The trailer for Wanted, a movie based off of the comic book series by Mark Millar and J.G. Jones has recently been released. The film stars Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy and a whole lot of bullets. Random House has announced that the third book in the Inheritance series begun with Eragon and Eldest will be released Sept 23, 2008. The still-untitled third book will then be followed at a future date by a fourth installment. Charles Ross’ One-Man ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy will be performed Nov. 1-11 at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets cost $38. The upcoming Battlestar Galactica TV movie Razor will screen at some movie theaters nationwide. Just not in the Valley. If you’re a dedicated BSG fan looking for a reason to road trip, you can find more info here. The movie is a flashback tale of the Battlestar Pegasus, including the now-deceased Adm. Cain (expertly played by Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Michelle Forbes). But it also will include the full cast of the television series, whose fourth and final season will begin airing on Sci Fi Channel sometime in 2008. It seems reality has caught up with William Shatner. The 76-year-old actor has accepted that he will not have a role in J.J. Abrams’ new Star Trek film, unlike his erstwhile co-star Leonard Nimoy, who will appear as an aged Spock. You can read more about it here. Stargate Atlantis, now in its fourth season on Sci Fi Channel, has just been renewed for a fifth. The show has a new commanding officer, Col. Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping, pictured above, who recently transferred from the now-defunct flagship series Stargate SG-1) and a new doctor, played by sci-fi veteran Jewel Staite (Firefly).
