TBC had a few glitches even after tested on the PTR. It always happens. The new XPAC is a reall "catch-22". Many are eagerly anticipating the release but others are dreading the grind to 80 from 70. My bet for release of the Lich King is two or three weeks before Thanksgiving. (Blizzard has essentially promised it will be out in time for Christmas gift-giving). The bad news is I think this expansion will require additional memory and graphics card power, forcing more than a few WoW fans to buy new computers.
