Everyone loves a super hero — and everyone loves to see a supervillain get busted!
Our friends at Atomic Comics’ Chandler Superstore will be invaded by several of the baddest baddies of all time on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. Don’t forget to wear your own super villain costume for a chance to win prizes.
In addition, several of the Valley’s own hottest, upcoming comic book creative superstars will be on hand to meet with fans and provide sketches and photo opportunities. Polaroids will be sold for $5 each, but you can also bring your own camera!
Children 12 and younger can get free sketches from the artists while adults can purchase custom sketches for $5 with proceeds going to the Hero Initiative, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping retiring comic book creators who developed today’s iconic characters such as Spider-Man, but were unable to receive compensation for their creations.
The Chandler store will also be giving select free comics to everyone who comes in on that day!
