You’ve got ‘Star Trek’ in my Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels logoAttention Star Trek collectors: Mattel is rolling out four die-cast vehicles in its Hot Wheels line this summer to celebrate the franchise and its return to the big screen May 8:

  • U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Refit (from Star Trek: The Motion Picture)
  • Klingon Bird of Prey (from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock etc.)
  • U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (from Star Trek: The Next Generation)
  • U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864 (from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)

The models are 1:50 scale and are available to pre-order from Entertainment Earth for $54.99 as a set of individually packaged ships.

    They are also releasing the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from the new movie just in time for summer. Hot Wheels is going to release this fifth vehicle sometime in June.
