Still no ‘Lich King’ for WoW players in China

As reported by GamePolitics via our sister blog in Orange County:

“Wrath of the Lich King” is being held up again in China — apparently, a second iteration of the game for the Chinese market has been rejected by regulators. The problem? It’s against the law to showcase human skeletons in China, which “Lich King” is chock full of. Apparently some sneaked into this second edited version.

Considering the World of Warcraft expansion is named for an undead monarch and features the Death Knight as a new character class, at what point does it become pointless to even release the thing in China?
