Various news agencies are reporting the story of a firefighter who went above and beyond normal heroics into superheroics. An 11 year-old autistic boy, distressed during his first day at a new school, climbed out a window onto a third story ledge. After hearing the boy was a big fan of superheroes, Thai firefighter Somchai Yoosabai went back to his station, dressed up as Spider-Man and coaxed the child safely back inside.

I completely understand the boy’s decision to come back in.  I’ve followed women dressed as comic book characters all over the San Diego Comic-Con myself, so I totally understand the allure of a costume.
