Last week 47-year-old “never been kissed” Britan’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle took the stage to dubious looks and laughter. But within moments of opening her mouth to sing “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables the audience was weeping and slack-jawed. Needless to say, Boyle’s performance garnered her a perfect score to usher her into the next round of competition, and has been viewed more than 11 million times on YouTube.
