(A full list of the nominees, announced in March, can be found here.) The Hugo Awards date back to 1953. Recipients are chosen by members of the World Science Fiction Society (WSFS). The Hugos are presented each year at the World Science Fiction Convention. The 67th World Science Fiction Convention, known as Anticipation, took place this weekend in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The Hugos are voted on by the thousands of members of the annual World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon), which is also responsible for administering the awards.
