Most of the WizKids intellectual property has been purchased from Topps by a company called the National Entertainment Collectibles Association. Not only do they own the WizKids name, they also own the games (Mage Knight, HeroClix, ActionClix, HorrorClix, etc. — but not MechWarrior), the click-base concept and even the polystyrene 3D game model used for the Pirates constructable strategy game.
